Have you ever sang a song where you have no idea what the hell the words are or the meaning of the song is (she's my, brown eye'd girl) but you really love the chorus and what you think it means, so you sing the chorus really well.
That is what GW does when he speaks about his policies, I have the chorus really memorized well, and i love to sing it loud.

I would like everyone to read this, disregard the authors name, it is certainly inflammatory in nature. This is essentailly the post I have wanted to write for a long time but have not had the resources to ocllect all of the data and links.

Mr. Bush and His 10 Ever-Changing Different Positions on Iraq: "A flip and a flop and now just a flop."

Department of Defense- Donald Rumsfeld - Resume

<>Rumsfeld was chairman of the board of directors of Gilead Sciences, Inc. Immediately before becoming defense secretary. Gilead is in partnership with Pfizer. <>

He also was a member of the boards of directors of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) Ltd., Immediately before becoming defense secretary. Who are they you might ask? Oh they are just the company that designed the nuclear power plants in
North Korea, in 1996ish. Yup that is correct. They define themselves as A leader in power and automation technologies that enable customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impact. ABB has recently been characterized as the "Enron of Europe," <>

“the new light water reactor plant will be under the scrutiny of international inspectors, guaranteeing the communist country's nuclear power plants play no role in nuclear weapon development.”

12/27/2002 North Korea expelling IAEA inspectors

<>He also was a member of the boards of directors of Tribune Company Immediately before becoming defense secretary.

TRIBUNE is one of the country’s premier media companies, operating businesses in broadcasting and publishing. It reaches more than 80 percent of U.S. households and is the only media organization with television stations, newspapers and websites in the nation’s top three markets. In publishing, Tribune operates 13 leading daily newspapers including the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Newsday and Spanish-language Hoy, plus a wide range of targeted publications. The company’s broadcasting group includes 26 television stations; Superstation WGN on national cable; WGN-AM in Chicago; and the Chicago Cubs baseball team. In-depth news and information websites complement Tribune’s print and broadcast properties and extend the company’s nationwide audience.

They are one of the major media companies who “lobbied” the FCC to remove the limits of media consolidation. I have discussed this issue in months past

He also was a member of the boards of directors of the RAND Corporation.

<>The RAND Corporation is a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decision making through research and analysis. <>

He is currently chairman of the Salomon Smith Barney International Advisory Board.

See how Smith Barney was involved with the MCI WorldCom Scandal

<>From 1991 to 1996, Rumsfeld served as a member of the board of directors of Amylin Pharmaceuticals. Basically another drug company with “strategic” ties to Eli Lilly <>

Rumsfeld was chairman and chief executive officer of General Instrument Corporation from October 1990 to August 1993, a diversified electronics company and world leader in broadband and all digital high definition television technology.
<>

He served as a senior advisor to William Blair & Co., an investment banking firm, from 1985 to 1990.
<>

He was chief executive officer of G.D. Searle & Co. from 1977 to 1985.
<>
From 1977 to 1985 Rumsfeld served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and then Chairman of G.D. Searle & Co., a worldwide pharmaceutical company. (It was under Rumsfeld that Searle got FDA approval for the artificial sweetener aspartame, after many years of rejection.) The successful turnaround there earned him awards as the Outstanding Chief Executive Officer in the Pharmaceutical Industry from the Wall Street Transcript (1980) and Financial World (1981).
<>

For 16 years, the FDA denied approval of aspartame because of compelling evidence of its contributing to brain tumors and other serious disabilities. Donald Rumsfeld, present Secretary of Defense in the Bush Administration, left President Ford's administration as Chief of Staff to become the CEO of aspartame producer G D Searle Co. in 1981. Shortly after, Rumsfeld became the CEO, and the day after President Reagan took office, aspartame was quickly approved by FDA Commissioner Arthur Hayes over the objections of the FDA's Public Board of Inquiry. Hayes had been recently appointed by the Reagan Administration. Shortly after aspartame's approval by the FDA, Hayes joined NutraSweet's public relations firm under a ten year contract at $1,000 a day.

Aspartame/NutraSweet was the product of the G. D. Searle Co. In January 1977, the FDA wrote a 33 page letter to U.S. Justice Department Attorney
Sam Skinner: "We request that your office convene a Grand Jury investigation into apparent violations of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act." Skinner allowed the Statute of Limitations to run.

Three FDA Commissioners and eight other officers and Skinner took jobs in the aspartame industry.

The Food and Drug Administration once listed 92 adverse reactions from 10,000 consumer complaints and would send the list to all inquirers. In 1996 the FDA stopped taking complaints and now denies existence of the report. Seizures, blindness, sexual dysfunction, obesity, testicular, mammary and brain tumors and death, plus dozens of other dread diseases named in the suit arise from the consumption of this neurotoxin.

This is very unlikely to be just a conspiracy theory, although it sure sounds like one. Truth is stranger than fiction right?<> <>

Filed In: The United States District Court for the Northern District of California
Plaintiff: Joe Bellon, individually and as a representative of a class of plaintiffs
Damages $350,000,000

A RACKETEER INFLUENCED & CORRUPT ORGANIZATIONS [RICO complaint has been filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The suit charges the defendants with manufacturing and marketing a deadly neurotoxin unfit for human consumption; while they assured the pubic that aspartame (also known as NutraSweet/Equal) contaminated products are safe and healthful, even for children and pregnant women. Present Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is mentioned throughout the lawsuit.

OK So here is the summary.

<><>He is in bed with the Pharmaceutical Industry,

He is in Bed with big media conglomerates

He was on the board of directors of a company that provided nuclear information to NORTH KOREA! (Rush and co. fails to notice that when blaming Clinton for this)

He was chairman in a company that propped up MCI WorldCom as its stocks were plummeting; this company is involved in a class action law suit right now for this offense.

Pushed (through politics, not research) a potential neurotoxin to market as “Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke”

I really dislike this man.

Atlanta Falcons are 2-0
as if anyone cares I will discuss this now.
Mike Vick
13/22 163 yards, 6 attempts 10 yards rushing
14/19 179 yards, 12 attempts 109 yards rushing
Well, I was a little bit concerned during the preseason about the whole Vick looks terrible thing. I have to say that although he still looks quite uncomfortable overall with being a QB in the new system.
Here is a quick breakdown of his passes,
9/131 1TD tight ends
5/80 1TD fullbacks
2/2 running backs
11/131 wide receivers
This is pretty indicative of a QB who quite does not know who to throw to yet, he really only has one WR that he has played real significant time with and that it Finneran, Basically he is flying around disrupting the necessary timing for the offense but completing 66% of his passes, using his 2nd, 3rd, 4th options, who fortunately are very good, Crumpler and Griffith and his amazing scrambling ability.
I am very encouraged about the Falcons this season and into the future, Mora looks like a very good coach primarily as a defensive mind, anybody who can make that defense a top 20 defense has a pretty good aptitude for it.
Vick is only going to get better in this offense. More yardage and pass attempts to the wide receivers will be necessary for Atlanta to be a playoff team, I always thought Peerless Price was a mistake, (1st round pick for him, hmmm probably the best he can be is a 1a wide receiver) he will never be a true #1. He needs a real solid complement to excel, he is killed by double coverage. Play Jenkins.
The second half of the season I expect the offense to get much better. Fortunately I really would not be surprised if they were 6-2 headed into the second 1/2 of the season. Arizona next week, Carolina afterwards minus Stephen Davis and Steve Smith (will be close & tough b/c Carolina is coming off a bye week 2 weeks to prepare) should win 2 of the next 4 Detroit, SanDiego, KC, Denver,
This makes Atlanta 6-2, the second half will be much harder for them, if they go 3-5 then that makes them 9-7 and a possible playoff berth. Let us hope.

The Buffalo Bills
Terrible Terrible Terrible, I really think that right now, with Losman in a cast, he is more mobile and less scared than Bledsoe, We are seeing the end of Bledsoe's career right now, Very likely he will suffer the same fate as Jim Kelly, wheeled out on a cart. Losman will start the second half of the season, he better, we are already playing for next year. Give McGahee between 1/3 to 1/2 of the carries because he will be the starter next year, he will need the experience, Everyone thinks that the Bills will be out of the first round in next years draft but that is not true, Henry will be traded for either a 1st or a (2nd and 3rd) in the draft

Football, much easier to figure out than politics. The sad thing is this, More people would vote in a hypothetical NFL election than in our next Presidential election.

Please tell me if I am Crazy here

There Are Three Members of the Bush administration so-called “axis of evil”

Iran, Iraq and North Korea

<>
Currently 2/3 of them have clear nuclear capability

<>Iran
North Korea <>
Currently 1/3 of them does not and did not have nuclear weapons

Iraq

<>Who had ties to Al Qaeda?
Iraq
? no
Iran
? yes oh another thing who hijacked all the planes in the late 70's and 80's??
North Korea
? no
Afghanistan
? yes Osama continues to walk around there
Pakistan
? yes <>
Saudi Arabia? very VERY likely I believe 16/20 hijackers were Saudi, Osama is Saudi

Honestly am I missing something here, I really, REALLY want to know why the
Iraq war was necessary at this time. I am not saying that Saddam would not have launched a nuclear weapon if he had them. However there are more significant threats to the US than Iraq. How about the bastards who carried out the attacks.
How is it possible that Kerry is screwing this election up? If Kerry loses it will be solely placed upon him and his advisors. How on earth is GW going to win reelection???
I am truly stunned. WHY???
How is this possible, I certainly am not a political genius. I am not even politically gifted, hell, I am like a "C-" political observant.

It just seems very clear to me that the Bush-Cheney objective was.
The Soviet Empire could not defeat Afghanistan in 10 years with all their political might, Bush cannot go down in history as being another world leader who F'd up in Afghanistan but we need to make a statement lets bomb them with airplanes. Lets go to a place where we can win against a person who tried to kill the presidents father, where the war will easily be one, with mimimum human casualties since they have no WMD's. like the others do. We will convince the naive american population that Saddam is a terrorist. We will be re-elected and will be hero's.
Oh we miscalculated the post iraq conditions, damn, this means they were not as easy to beat up as we thought it would be,

Here is my metaphor of our war on terrorism.

George's sister got beat up by a gang of thugs, George is quite unhappy about this, all of george's friends say that we will take revenge on the person who did this but we need to find out who it was first. So they find out who it is, everone goes over to the guys house to beat him up but her is very tough to beat, the guy can take a thousand punches to the face and laugh in your face while you do it.
While the fight is going on some of georges family is fast becoming impatient about the battle. If we do not do something soon georges family is going to get upset and ask what is taking so long. George's freinds say dont worry about what you family says, we support you and lets finish the job.
George gets weary and decides that he will beat up the thugs handicapped step cousin third removed who once toilet papered his house when they were kids.

Having a Grape Ape Summer.

<>A return happy 2nd to my artist formerly known as fiancé<>

<>2 years down, the way I figure it 65 more to go. If the second anniversary is the cotton anniversary, the 67th must be the Prune Juice anniversary.

<>Here’s to 65 more years of being “regular” people. <>

NFL Football begins today, cannot wait for that.
